Georgia Strait Alliance

| The Golden Rule is that whoever holds the wealth or financial power dictates how things are done. So follow the money to find out who is deciding the agenda. There are two primary factors involved, who are they getting funding from and who they are funding. |
| Sitka Foundation | Pew Charitable Trusts | |
| Global Greengrants Fund | Glasswaters Foundation | Hummingbird Foundation |
| Dennis and Kathy Meakin Family Foundation | Endswell Foundation | Nature Canada |
| Vancouver Foundation | Victoria Foundation | BC Gaming – BC NDP Goverment |
| Service Canada — Canada Summer Jobs – Federal Liberal Government | Community, Sport and Cultural Development – Federal Liberal Government | Employment and Social Development Canada – Federal Liberal Government |
| TELUS Communications | Electronic Arts | Patagonia |
| Port of Vancouver | Real Estate Foundation of British Columbia | Skipper Otto |
| Slack Technologies | American Ocean Foundation | Clif Family Foundation |
In doing a search on what we could find when looking for more information about this group, it sort of looks more like a business than it does an organization. It might even be a project of the American Ocean Foundation. Incorporated in the State of California, United States, The Ocean Foundation is a non-governmental nonprofit 501(c) (3) international public foundation that receives donations from individuals, family and corporate foundations, corporations, and government agencies.
(see below)

The Georgia Strait Alliance runs more like a business as well, its controlled by a limited group of well paid people. More like self paid.
They are in part funded by both Federal, Provincial and funds (undisclosed) that come in from outside of Canada. Below we included only the last year available, we saw they get more annually.
As seen by only one year, we are not talking about petty cash, there is a major amount of money changing hands and spent by people making a career out of interfering in a process that is supposed to be done at a federal and provincial level.
Why are tax payers being double billed?

More information for previous years is available from the Revenue Canada website.
