From their own website the claim “Watershed Watch Salmon Society is a science-based charity working to defend and rebuild B.C.’s wild salmon.”

Of note is CodeBlue BC is run by Aaron Hill who is the son of Bruce Hill who runs the Watershed Watch Salmon Society.

  • The directors are Wayne Halabourda, Preet Pall, Rich Ronyecz, Eric Hobson and Autumn Longley based on what they submitted to Revenue Canada.
  • The number of permanent, full-time, compensated positions: 8
  • Total expenditure on compensation for part-time or part-year employees in the fiscal period.
    CAN$ 71,068.00
  • Total expenditure on all compensation in the fiscal period.

Next look at the money that they received, the money shuffle between charities is hidden. American funds pour into their Canadian counterpart, then they are able to hide who gets it by using the sideways shuffle of funds between charities.

It appears the Watershed Watch Salmon Society is using its funds and personnel to create artificial organizations. It created the Freshwater Alliance who created another called CodeBlue BC another virtual organization. Once again using the sideways shuffle to fund these new creations.
