New Relationship Trust

Last page edit: July 23, 2026

The primary issue here is they fund radical organizations.  Hiding who the Philanthropic & Private Partners are. This is also the BC NDP using the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples to use the multi-million dollar Declaration Act Engagement Fund (DAEF – As a doorway to taking money out of your and my pockets to fund these shysters.whose only goal is to wipe out industial growth in British Columbia, they have zero regard for how this will hurt us.

The New Relationship Trust (NRT) is primarily funded by the Province of British Columbia and the Government of Canada. Established in 2006, its core capital was created by a $100 million endowment from the BC government, with program services and grants supported by the interest earned.

Specific government departments and funding streams include:
  • Province of British Columbia: Originally provided the $100 million foundational trust and provides resources for programs like the multi-million dollar Declaration Act Engagement Fund (DAEF) to assist First Nations in aligning provincial laws with the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
  • Government of Canada: Partners with the trust through federal organizations like PacifiCAN and the Strategic Partnerships Initiative to fund specific mandates like the BC Indigenous Clean Energy Initiative.
  • Philanthropic & Private Partners: The organization also accepts private donations and partnerships.
