The “obstructionist” profile of Adrienne Berchtold
Rookie Ecologist Adrienne Berchtold is seriously trying to make a name and a living from churning spin into pocket cash, or better put not needing to get a real job. Let me interject Adrienne Berchtold went directly from the classroom to working as an anti industry ecologist. In this story posted by Skeenawild Conservation Trust collaborates with Canadian Broadcasting Corporation where taxpayers are on the hook for funding a radical extremist slant on the Red Chris Mine. In the CBC presentation. As shown in a screenshot below Adrienne Berchtold takes one water sample
Claims made by this rookie are let me quote, Adrienne Berchtold in Red
Now a breakdown. “There was a series of, I would say, oversights on the part of the government that have resulted in long standing environmental issues.” an accusation without any substantiating evidence. “All of Red Chris Mine’s waste leaks into the surrounding environment, into the creeks and lakes at rates that are much greater than what was predicted and planned” Fear tactics, if it leaks its obvious where it will leak, is there leaks? She provides no evidence that there are leaks. “In fact, the province of British Columbia has repeatedly fined the mine for instances of failing to monitor groundwater.” “The government should not be speeding up a process that they are already not getting right at regular speeds”. “If we’re seeing all of these issues arising at Red Chris under the current regulatory structure at a normal speed, then how many more problems are we going to see as they fast track?” I seriously doubt that she even has a clue what fast tracking involves, what we do know is she is paid to try to block, slowdown, or preferably kill all mining projects.
But the clincher of this Canadian Broadcasting Corporation report goes to the CBC reporter “Lyndsay Duncombewho” says ” And it’s not just Red Chris she worries about. Check out all the proposed and active mining sites in the area, many owned by multinational corporations in partnership with indigenous nations.
We posted the screenshot of mines below as well.

We have been saying this for quite some time now, when First nations start supporting mines, pipelines, forestry or any industry, these radical so called environmentalists will turn on First nations with a vengeance, and as long as the support these eco-radicals money will keep flowing to those bucking against their own aboriginal leadership.
In the summer of 2015 Adrienne Berchtold was still a student at Simon Fraser University (SFU) her project was a trip down to Eleuthera to continue their research on various aspects of the lionfish invasion in The Bahamas. Adrienne Berchtold, an MSc student, spent the summer answering these questions. “Her project required catching parrotfish off of high lionfish density and low lionfish density patch reefs throughout the summer. Why the density difference? Adrienne is interested in whether parrotfish from high density reefs have perhaps learned to recognize lionfish as predators and as such are more effective at evading them than parrotfish from low density reefs that may not recognize lionfish as predators and are more susceptible to predation.”
Adrienne Berchtold got her Master’s Degree in Biology 2017 and landed a job working for Skeenawild Conservation Trust less than a year later. With a fresh degree in hand her job was to discredit the Mining industry, Skeenawild Conservation Trust is and always was an organization focused on stopping, blocking or driving up the costs of the resource industry in British Columbia.
So it comes as no surprise to see her line up with CBC to increase the volume of noise directed at the Mining Industry.
