Environmental Law Centre
Environmental Law Centre Society is a bit of a joke on the public, to me its a bit deceitful to call yourself a society, then take funding as a donation to the University of Victoria in order to get a tax deduction for your donation. Like many other organizations this one is also listed as a partner to the Friends of Wild Salmon
They claim “the Environmental Law Centre will continue its work bringing legal and scientific expertise to those who need it, empowering citizens to protect and improve the environments on which they depend, and training the next generation of dedicated public-interest lawyers.”
The truth is they back every Eco-radical organization in trying to halt all industrial growth in BC. In loose translation when they support the Friends of Wild Salmon they are in fact indirectly working towards trying to halt the CGL pipeline, even though the project has 100% goverment support.
The following is quoted directly from their website, a sort of says it all list.
