The David Suzuki Foundation is money laundering, for the Tides Foundation and feeding it to the the Skeenawild Conservation Trust in the forever sideways shift to hide American funding.
My first memory of David Suzuki as a radical environmentalist was after his victory on Clayoquot Sound when some reporter forgot to tell him he was on record, in regards to some of the obvious lies told during the campaign, his reply shattered every illusion I ever had of a man who cares about science and protecting out environment. His reply was quite curt “The end justifies the means.”
So when one of the million statements of the David Suzuki Foundation is “Facts and evidence matter in confronting climate crisis” I have to look at that and recall that telling lies is alright if it meets the goals of some individuals. With that in mind David Suzuki with the funding provided by tax payers through CBC has created a lot of very impressive documentaries. Regardless of the foundations claims that David Suzuki does not work for the foundation, without his influence mostly gained on CBC and all the promotions by CBC there would be no foundation. The David Suzuki Foundation exists only thanks to CBC.
David Suzuki can easily tell you how to save the environment at the cost of your employment while he sits on his 25 million personal stash.
The following from the Toronto Sun
The David Suzuki Foundation’s website notes about air travel: “Air travel leaves behind a huge carbon footprint.” The site goes on to note that people should “try vacationing closer to home” or “stay in touch with people by videoconferencing…” to help “stop climate change.” consider that in 2014 Suzuki did a farewell tour across Canada. It was supposed to be his “last national tour” according to the CBC. That tour included “20 stops from St. John’s to Vancouver.” Since that “last national tour” in 2014, we calculated that Suzuki has made at least eight more trips to cities in Ontario, four trips to Montreal, he has visited Winnipeg a couple times, Atlantic Canada twice and Calgary at least once. Many of these trips appear to have been public speaking appearances. One agency notes he charges $30,000 to $50,000 per appearance so it’s easy to see why he might be so driven.
David Suzuki is such a brazen hypocrite the quote above is just the start of a long list, read the rest here.
As another journalist put it “Just as staggering is the wilful hypocrisy of making such a well-heeled living courtesy of the whole environmental movement, despite being an individual chewing up far more resources than regular Canucks.”
The most profound statement David ever made was “What’s the best line you have ever written?” Suzuki was asked, oh so incisively. “I just repeat what my dad taught me: You are what you do, not what you say,” his answer.
If we as Canadian all did what David Suzuki was best at we would all be con artist, liars and hypocrites. We would all be jet setters with condos and cottages around the world.
Imagine how CBC can turn one man into a self made empire of illusion.
