Conservation North

Not an organization but a collective scam.

The strongest documented connections are to Michelle Connolly and the other named core members; Indigenous knowledge and communities in Dakelh/Lheidli T’enneh territories; conservation and forest-protection groups; researchers and resource professionals; and B.C. forestry and biodiversity-policy processes. In short another swipe at White Canadians –  “The NDP/Liberal Coalition and radicals on the left, have new labels to divide our rich nation, they call the “white race” colonizers, and the colored immigrants simply as immigrants, blaming all the woes aboriginals are bitching about, as being the “white colonizers” living on stolen land.”

There is a direct environmental-policy overlap involving Taylor Bachrach and Conservation North around the Smithers wood-pellet/Drax issue. Conservation North publicly opposed aspects of the pellet industry’s forest practices, while Taylor Bachrach, when he was mayor of Smithers, had raised concerns about the proposed pellet plant’s air-quality impacts.

More recently, there is a personal/public-event connection: in August 2026, Taylor Bachrach participated in the Fraser River Challenge, while Michelle Connolly of Conservation North was also participating. The report describes Taylor Bachrach joining the canoe portion and Connolly completing the swimming portion.
