Vancity is a member-owned credit union, not a publicly traded bank. Its members are its owners. Vancity funds environmental, Indigenous, housing, climate and other organizations through its Shared Success program. In simple terms Vancity is another great idea gone sour by allowing it to become “Infiltrated” and a tool to kill industry in British Columbia.
In the case on Vancity, its not about who funds them, its about who they fund.
