Todd Stockner is the original owner of the Kispiox River Lodge, is the Board Chair of the Skeena Watershed Conservation Coalition. Todd’s wife is working for the the Skeena Watershed Conservation Coalition as well. He moved to the Kispiox Valley from New Westminster in 1994 with his family. An angling guide in the Skeena watershed since 1982, he first guided on the Babine River for Pierce Clegg at the Babine Norlakes Steelhead camp. he now operates his own angling guide business on the Kispiox and Skeena Rivers, . His son Simon has been a river guide for the Skeena Watershed Conservation Coalition based in Hazelton.
Todd also sits on the executive steering committee of Friends of Wild Salmon, is an active member of the North Coast Steelhead Alliance, as well as a member of Western Canada Wilderness Committee.
It seems that professional obstruction pays better than his day job, fishing sure beats working, so he opposes it for everyone, not just himself.
