Dogwood Deception

Like an angry four year old kid, the author of Dogwood’s posts remain hidden like a kit ranting from behind a bush. We did a screen capture of what they said, and it sounds a whole lot like a kid gloating over his discovery, the twisting the truth to try make a point.

Now the facts.

Two weeks prior to the latest stop work orders being issued,  Coastal GasLink halted the majority of construction in the area, so that we could enhance our erosion and sediment control measures during this challenging Spring melt season.

In addition, Coastal GasLink has taken the added precautionary step of pausing construction across numerous project work fronts out of an abundance of caution, including non-critical construction work across Section 3. While most construction work has already been paused due to seasonal spring melt, we are dedicating additional crews to erosion and sediment control as well as critical work that would otherwise impact the environment if paused.

So goes the Dogwood deception, the project was already shut down due to seasonal spring runoff, then the Environmental Assessment Office made it official after the fact. “Two weeks prior to the latest orders being issued, Coastal GasLink halted the majority of construction”

So very clever or devious of them to omit the rest of this story.

But then again deception is the modus operandi of this radical environmentalist group, its how it was able to deceive people and acquire the membership it now holds.
