The bottom line is the Wilburforce Foundation is an American influence peddling organization (buying public opinion) with the use of misleading and outright false information. It should be illegal for organizations from outside of Canada to manipulate the voters of Canada to meet the objectives of a few individuals that control a lot of money. They have goals that walk with aboriginal peoples or walk over aboriginal peoples, as long as their objectives are met that is their goal. As long as they can pretend they are defending indigenous rights they will, but watch what happens when aboriginals decide to get into the resource industry.

in our region the vast majority of First Nations support the resource industry are and have joined forces with industry, so what did these environmental organizations do? They pretend that a handful or terrorists are the voice of the legitimate nations, and pretend the vast majority support them, its almost criminal what these Americans are doing to Canadians and Canadian First nations.

The Wilburforce Foundation is a private grantmaking foundation founded and funded by Rose Letwin, the ex-wife of early Microsoft employee Gordon Letwin. The Foundation primarily funds environmentalist projects. It has funded hundreds of left-of-center environmentalist groups including the Sierra Club BC, the Natural Resources Defense Council, and Greenpeace.

Most of the grants and programs conducted by the Wilburforce Foundation emphasize training environmentalist professionals as well as providing general support to the operations of hundreds of environmentalist organizations in North America.
