Is Tanker Traffic in Canada Safe for the Environment?

The entire tanker ban is a bad joke on Canadians. It does not stop tanker traffic, there have not been any spills since the ban was put in place, hundreds of thousands of tankers did pass along the coast of BC without incident. Laws have been upgraded to insure safe transportation. The only people who cannot ship oil is Alberta, and that was the foreign funded Sierra Club BC master plan and implemented by Nathan Cullen. The tanker ban does not reduce world oil consumption, it does not reduce Canada’s oil consumption, it serves only as a means to STOP Alberta from selling oil to the world.
