Jenny Quock is now deceased, but is the mother of Robert Jakesta. The SWCC has a long history of pretending they are standing up for aboriginals, however on close examination its never the aboriginal nation but are supporting radical activists within the nation. Jenny Quock in this instance is more representative of the radial activists working outside of the Tàłtàn Nation, they are loners, renegades who will not accept the real leadership of their nation. The SWCC is doing the assist when and the real Tàłtàn leadersip is being ignored.

The film “Klabona Keepers‘ premiered on May 26, 2022 at the Toronto edition of the Human Rights Watch Film Festival.

There would be no story, if two colonial Eco-activists by the name of Tamo Campos and Jasper Snow Rosen had not invented the so called Klabona Keepers.

Now we see the connection in funding as well as how the film even got off the ground. All with the help of another colonial by the name of David Suzuki also heavily connected to the CBC. Thanks in large part to the David Suzuki Foundation David;s grandson was able to play the “residential school” sales pitch, as well as use a phrase coined by some colonial hippies in a San Fransico coffe shop and “Sacred Headwaters was born as an Eco-radical war-cry.

This story was written in collaboration between Edonamē (Carolyn Doody), a Tāhłtān land defender, teacher and therapist, and myself, a professional snowboarder turned documentary filmmaker, and one of the creators behind the film The Klabona Keepers.
